How I work
CBT provides the framework for my work, but I don't believe therapy should feel mechanical or formulaic. What makes this work different is the balance between structure and flexibility. You won't be left to simply talk, but you also won't be given a rigid set of tools to follow. Instead, we work collaboratively to build an approach that feels clear, relevant and sustainable for you.
While structure can be incredibly helpful, I also recognise that people are complicated and life rarely fits neatly into a worksheet. My aim is to create a space that feels thoughtful, collaborative and grounded in your real-world experience.
What matters to me
I believe therapy works best when it offers both understanding and practical support. My role isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you make sense of what's happening, develop new perspectives, and build confidence in your own ability to move forward.
I value honesty, curiosity and compassion in the therapeutic relationship. Therapy should feel like a place where you can think clearly, explore things safely, and begin making changes that feel meaningful and manageable in everyday life.
